Choir news!

If you are interested, besides joining our children choir, we are also offering music lessons under the guidance of our our staff musiciansm, Dr. Paul Emlyn Jessen & Antonella Cavallaro.

Some Income Information

Here are some recent net income:

  1. December 31st dinner dance: $9, 000
  2. Pancake Sunday: $690.00
  3. Chocolate roses: $200.00 approximately.
What a great success.

Baby Bottles for Life

Last month, representatives from Aid to Women were here to speak with us and they handed out plastic baby bottles that contained information about their campaign. For all those who picked up bottles, we ask that you kindly return them to the parish (with a donation next weekend March 4/5, if possible and if you cannot donate at this time, we still ask that you return the bottles, so that they may be reused for future campaigns. 100% of the donations received go directly to Aid to Women's life affirming work.

Stations of the Cross

Please join us in the church as we observe the traditional Lenten devotion of the Stations of the Cross, beginning Friday, March 3 and every Friday during Lent at 7:30 p.m. (bilingual).

 
Dried Palms

Bring your dried palms from last year, place them in the wicker basket at the entrance. They will be burnt to make the Ash Wednesday ashes for this year.

55+ Group
The 55+ group will be getting together in the Parish Hall this Thursday, March 2nd at 9:30 AM for some refreshments and a game of Bingo.

Knights of Columbus Meeting
The Knights of Columbus will be meeting on Wednesday, March 2nd at 7:00 PM in the Parish Hall.

Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers & Ushers
and anyone interested in these ministries are asked to attend a retreat/training in the church on Saturday, March 4 from 10am to Noon.

Come and rediscover the beauty of serving.

Coffee Sunday
You are invited to join us in the Hall for some coffee, refreshments & fellowship after the Masses next Sunday, March 5.

Come down & join your fellow parishioners on that Sunday and on every First Sunday of the month after any Mass!

MASS IN HONOUR OF FR. FRANCESCO'S INSTALLATION
Please mark your calendars for the official celebratory Mass in honour of Fr. Francesco who has already been installed!

On Sunday, March 19, it will be our pleasure to welcome our new zone Auxiliary Bishop, The Most Reverend Robert Kasun, who will preside at the Noon Mass.

Afterwards we are all invited to a nice Spaghetti lunch in the Hall!

Bundle Weekend
The weekend of March 18/19, the SVDP truck will be parked in the small staff parking lot near the rectory, off of Westmount Ave.

If you have any good used items that you'd like to donate, please bring them to the truck then.
